I don't feel any vibration
Make sure vibration is turned on in Settings › Accessibility › Touch › Vibration. Mjoll needs an iPhone with a Taptic Engine (iPhone 8 or later).
The session paused by itself
iOS only plays haptics while the app is open. Keep Mjoll in the foreground during a session. The screen stays on but is dimmed to almost black. If you lock the iPhone or switch apps, the session pauses. Open Mjoll again and tap Resume to continue where you left off.
Can I pause a session?
Guided programs like Herzruhe have a Pause button: touch the screen to show the controls, then tap Pause. Tap Resume to continue – Herzruhe picks up exactly where it stopped and fades back in gently. Every session also pauses when you leave the app.
How do I stop a session?
Touch the screen to show the timer and the Stop button, then press and hold Stop. This prevents stopping by accident while the iPhone rests on your body. A short vibration confirms the stop.
Can I make a program slower or faster?
Yes. During a session, touch the screen and use the speed slider above the Stop button – from 50 % to 150 %. Herzruhe is the exception: its breathing rhythm is fixed, so it has no speed slider. Mjoll remembers your speed for each program, so you only set it once.
How does it end?
When the time is up, the vibration fades out gently over the last 30 seconds and ends without any extra signal, so it won't wake you if you have fallen asleep.
